G Live is a brand new venue situated on London Road at the top of Guildford High Street. It’s only 12 minutes walk away from Guildford Railway Station and 3 minutes walk from London Road Station. There is also a pay-and-display car park adjacent to the venue.

The Guildford Fair will accommodate 50 antique and fine art exhibitors and after inaugural May 2012 event, this fair will run annually thereafter. Take a look at the stand plan to see where you will find us

Serbian Week in the UK has been an annual event for the last 4 years, and now in 2012 has grown into the Serbian Month -  a month of many exciting cultural events that include inaugural Serbian Ball that will be on of the opening events of the Serbian Month 2012 that continues with over 20 events during February including classical music concerts, art exhibitions, films screenings, literary events and many others.

As every year Fine Art Escape is taking part in Serbian cultural events promoting Serbian Art on several different occasions

• we are donating a painting by Branko Dimitrijevic “Belgrade at Night”, oil on canvas, 100x50cm at the  Serbian St Sava’s Ball on Sunday 29th January to help raise funds to support Children Protection Centre Zvecanska
• 45 Years of the Serbian Ortodox Church St John the Baptist, Halifax, Saturday 4th February – the celebration will be opened by HRH Princess Katarina Karadjordjevic and will include Fine Art Escape exhibition and a number of other cultural events

This annual NON PROFIT event will

• Start with a Champagne and canapé reception from 19:00
• Performance by Jasmina Stosic, who will sing old traditional Serbian songs
• Dinner from 20:00 will consist of a 3 course meal inspired by the original recipes from the 12th century Serbian court and accompanied by half a bottle of wine and half a bottle of water
• Charity auction will follow from approximately 21:45 with prizes such as: a week for 2 in Mauritius (value £3,000), various signed sports memorabilia, dinners in top London restaurants, weekends in top London hotels, and more…
• Entertainment will continue from 22:00 with a live performance by Paprika.

“Different Face of Serbia” – a series of academic, artistic and cultural events which we are presenting at the London School of Economics and Political Science during October 2011 – brings to the attention of academic audience and general public an independent, non-governmental view on contemporary Serbia. It is done through presenting work of several outstanding LSE alumni students and world-class authors of the 21st century Serbia. The idea is to introduce to the world sophisticated, educated and cosmopolitan Serbia, whose image and reputation over the previous two decades were blemished mainly due to inability of its politicians to present it in a dignified way.

This evening is going to be devoted to Carola Grindea, a remarkable musician who had greatly influenced music development in many aspects at the last few decades of 20th century in the UK . She was a great pianist and an internationally recognised piano pedagogue who founded European Piano Teachers Association (EPTA), International Society for the Study of Tension in Performance (ISSTIP) as well as Beethoven Society. Prof. C. Grindea was a writer of several books as well as an establisher of ISSTIP and EPTA journals. She had also evolved the ‘Grindea Technique’ that brings total liberation of body and mind of any tension that was successfully used on more than 1000 musicians within ISSTIP Performing Arts Clinic. In addition, her pioneering work echoed greatly in the national press and other media.

In celebration to her life, her friends and colleagues are going to perform diverse music styles that Carola had enjoyed, including composers such as Beethoven, Liszt, Kreisler, Rachmaninov, Brahms together with other contemporary musicians from around the world. The venue organisers’ Marina Petrov-Stoykovich (Piano) and Maya Momcilovic-Jordan (Piano) as well as guest performers including Silva McQueen (Soprano), Robert Atchison (Violin) and Olga Dudnik (Piano) are going to perform piano music as well as various ensembles.

In memoriam to Prof. Grindea and her love of arts, there will be an Art Exhibition by Fine Art Escape that can be viewed before the concert and during the interval.
