The exhibition of monotypes by Stojan Djuric is opened from Friday May 14 until June 4, 2010 at the Gallery of Belgrade Fortress. The gallery is open every day in between 11:00 and 7pm.

“Light in Watercolour” an exhibition of paintings by Dusan Djukaric, Belgrade

Historically, watercolours have received honours from all corners of the globe. The Chinese considered it as the most valuable and most difficult technique and treated both it and those who had mastered it with a deep respect. The paper used by the Chinese for watercolours is called CHEN XIN DENG, which translates to ‘entrance for clearing the mind’. And, indeed, it is really a kind of cleaning of the mind and the soul.

“Urban Records,” an exhibition of paintings by Stojan Milanov, Singidunum Gallery, Belgrade, Serbia

Artist Stojan Milanov will hold an exhibition from July 28 to August 14, 2009 in Belgrade. The artist will present several dozen paintings in the oil on canvas technique. Along with the exhibition inside the gallery, Milanov will set up a stand and canvas in front, where he will paint and urge passers-by to paint something themselves.
